What to Expect from JoAnn’s School Visit
JoAnn works with you to create a presentation tailored to your students, including topics, formats, and length, to ensure a memorable and engaging experience.

Visit Options

1-2 Hour Visit
A dynamic session for different grade levels featuring:

  • A book reading
  • Introduction to self-publishing
  • Discussion of the creative process: writing, editing, storyboarding, illustrating, printing, and marketing
  • Interactive song and Q&A session

Half Day Visit
A comprehensive visit including 2-3 assemblies or classroom visits:

  • Book reading
  • Explanation of self-publishing
  • Teaching the creative process from start to finish
  • Interactive song and Q&A session

Full Day Visit
An immersive day with 45-minute presentations for each grade level:

  • Book reading and explanation of self-publishing
  • Detailed insights into writing, editing, illustrating, and marketing
  • Interactive song and Q&A
  • Bonus lunch with students or staff
